Maternity sessions are some of the sweetest sessions to capture. Especially when you're capturing the joy of two people becoming first time parents. Melissa and Kyle decided to invite us up to their Shingle Springs home to make their photos a little more personal and intimate. I thought this was a brilliant idea. Their wooded property in the hills made for an awesome location for a shoot. These two are so excited to be parents and can’t wait to show their kiddo the laid back lifestyle of county living. Emily + Garrett: Stockton, CA Yokuts Trail

Not too long ago we sat down with emily, her mom, & her sister (who is doubling as her M.O.H for the wedding) over coffee to discuss her wedding day details. It was clear just how excited she was to marry this man. It was obvious from the way she smiled as she went over the details of her big day. during the consult we discussed taking engagement photos and where to shoot them. When emily explained how she likes the rustic out door look in photos, we knew just the place to have the session. on a nice sunny February evening we headed out to yokuts trails in stockton, ca and had an amazing time. Emily's soft boho outfit had perfect contrast with the rugged out door trails and she simply stunned in it. The love these two have for each other just shines right through in their shots. we can not wait to capture their wedding this September at the Lincoln farmhouse. Check out a few of emily and garrett's beautiful photos from their engagement session below.
